correct me if i'm wrong up last year i got caught speeding and in the mail it said that if you're going more than 15 over the speed limit you can't attend traffic school... or was it 20/25
anyways your best bet is to ask for an extension on the ticket/court appearance and then hope the officer doesn't show. Or even try the contest by written declaration thing, i hear that works ... sometimes!
anyways best of luck to you on how you approach and handle this! keep us informed i'd like to know how it turns out!

I went over 17 mph. At this point, I am concern with the ticket costing double cause it was in the "work area zone".
The ticket on listed as 'speeding' with 22350 violation. A few lines underneath it listed R6225.
My coworker tells me I can check a website to determine the amount in a few weeks. Can somebody confirm this?
thanks,
tnt

to backup my reasoning of you not having to worry!
this should cover it!
edit: if you still don't get it, the officer would have written "22362 violation" on the ticket instead of just "22350"
PSS. FIghT THE POWER!

Just go to court, the judge will ask you if you plead innocent or guilty. Plead guilty since you were speeding and have no proof that you were not, they will reduce the fine. I went to Fountain Valley court and my ticket was about 440 with traffic school and they reduced it to $300.

When you showed up to court, don't you give up the right to go to court?
It depends on the judge?
