I was going home from work. At the exit gate of my company there was a stop sign. I saw a cop passing by so i made sure i do a full stopped. after he passed by, i started driving towards my route (home). pass a couple of streets and he was going towards my route. he was on the slow lane(right lane). I told myself "im pretty sure his waiting for me and wants to pull me over". I passed him at the left lane since it was 45mph. I turned on the cruise control to make sure my speed is 45mph. It was a downhill so i knew he wants me to go faster just to pull me over. after i passed him , he signal towards the left lane to follow me. a min later he turned on his siren. I told myself " i knew it! now what!".

cop: license and registration?
me: let me find it. (gives my license but couldnt find the registration)
cop: i pulled u over coz i couldnt find the record of the car in my computer. i wanna make sure this car is not stolen.
me: it should be there
cop: can you come out of the vehicle?
me: sure
cop: put both of your hands at your back
me: i complied
cop: "holds my two wrists with one hand while his right hand grabs everything out of my pocket"
cop: do you have any weapons?
me: no sir
cop: "brings me towards the back of the cop car"

I was sitting down inside the cop car and the cop went towards my car.cops tries to checked out everything in my car. after awhile the cop gets inside the cop car and turned on the AC.

cop: why are you shaking?
me: I always shake. its just the way my hands are.
cop: you shouldnt be, your bigger than me.
me: ahh i dont want any trouble. i already have a lots of tickets.
(like im going to fight a cop? yea right! the cop knew im not going to fight. if i was going to fight then he wouldnt hold my wrists with just his one hand)

Cops enters my information in the computer...

cop: o yeah it says here u have a lot of tickets.
me: i know
cop: it says blah blah blah. is that you?
me: thats my dads name. insurance is cheaper when its in the name of an elder.
cop: oh okay, how come your license plate is bent?
me: somebody hit me at the rear long time ago.
cop: where did you came from?
me: at work
cop: where do you work?
me: Boston Scientific
cop: whats do you do there?
me: Software validation engineer
cop: (looks at me at the mirror)
cop: how come the car has a different emblem?
me: its just for looks. it was built 3 years ago. i used to mod but im trying to get a new car so i dont get pulled over again and again.
cop: yeah, you change too much stuff in your car. it gets other peoples attention and my attention (oh wow!, the truth comes out!)
me: thats why im trying to sell it and get a luxury car
cop: yeah trade it in. how much are they gonna give you for that?
me: im not sure

(Cops writes down all my information on a separate sheet) hmmm i think sheriff are creating a database that owns a fixed up car.

cop: no tickets, i just made sure that the car was not stolen.

"Come on!!! you see me wearing a long sleeve, slacks and black shoes. you can tell i came from an office. if i really stole the car then i wouldnt have stopped for you." he knew that from the start but he wants to give me a hard time.

cops got out of the car,opened my door, and let me out...

Cop: change your plate since you cant really understand the license plate number.
me: (i looked at the license plate, i could understand the letters and numbers. i know his just making an excuse to hassle me.) yes sir then I drove away.


Thats what i get for driving an import car.

Why did you let him do that? Why did you not assert your rights? Why did you answer his questions?

He had no probable cause to search your pockets or the vehicle. (Unless you are on probation and have a 4th waiver)

You DO NOT and should not answer any questions from the officer in regards to your occupation, where you live, where you are going, etc.

The proper responses are "Officer, I do not consent to a search of my vehicle or my person" and "Officer, I do not wish to discuss my personal life" as well as, "Officer, for what reason am I being detained? If you are going to arrest me, do so now otherwise I must assert my rights and dismiss myself".

I'd have driven straight to the station and filed a complaint. They can only do this because people let them!

lot of cops out today in my area

got pulled over for no front plate and they popped my hood and everything got lucky though and it was just no front license plate ticket
