Default A good tire repair place?

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to go to get the nails taken out of my tires, and get them patched back up? I've been thinking about going to americas tire company, or similar places. I would prefer the place be in or close to the valley. Thanks in advance. God bless.

The Valley? Man I know a good place in Garden Grove but I'm afraid that's really far for you. GL on finding some place nearby.

Discount tire center. They don't usually charge for the service but tips are appreciated. Hope that helps.

I just went to Discount Tire yesterday after finding my beater car had a flat. I got there with 30 minutes left before they closed. They found that the valve stem was cracked/cut and replaced it for free. I slipped him a "fiver" and went merrily on my way. The're smart to do that for folks, which will make them think of Discount when the time comes for new tires.

Goodyear Tire Ventura Blvd/Tampa, just tell them to patch -vs- using a plug. They have done several tires for my family's cars over the years

Go buy a tire patch kit from any auto supply store and fix it yourself. I did it last weekend and it was simple and cheap. Repair kit costs about $8 and you can repair up to 4 tires with it.

Go to any America's Tire Company and tell them Arnel sent you. We have locations in Northridge, Canoga Park, Camarilo, Thousand Oaks, and Simi Valley.

GOOD CALL!!

I got a cheap little kit from wal-mart, includes a pump for the cigarette lighter, some green goo, a tire patch and the little 2 tools one to reem the hole and hte other to force the patch into the tire.

I've used it a few times actually and they never leak, and I run the tire hard doing canyon runs after too, never an issue.

The whole thing comes in a nice little zipper pouch too and its very lightweight. I recommend leaving your spare tire and tools at home and using this instead. I'm a weight junkie like that though.
