Good shopping/hangin out in Irvine area?
Not sure if you guys are familiar with Santana Row up here in the bay area but essentially it's a pretty nice night life with a lot of fancy exotic cars that cruise through the area between the shops.
Besides the Spectrum, is there any other areas like this in LA that combines shopping, dining and a decent night life?
I'm open to any parts of LA but we want to stay away from toursit areas (hollywood, etc)
thanks

I don't think there's anything quite like Santana Row here besides the places that have already been mentioned (Spectrum, Grove, Rodeo Dr.).
I would suggest Main St. in Huntington Beach. It's not as fancy, more chill beach atmosphere with good eats and bars.
