Default Good place for alignment

So yeah. I got a flat tire (the right rear completely blew out... TO THE INSIDE..) because it was apparently wearing oddly, and I also ran over a nail on the freeway around Pasadena. It sucked.

But I think I need an alignment... any place in LA or close by that's cheap?

(btw, I sincerely apologize if something like this has been posted already... but I'm guessing people have new opinions every year). =)

Evasive or West End.

A quick search will show you 100% positive feedback for both.

Another note, how would you know you need an alignment? It's often suggested to get it after a new set of tires (btw, I got a set of G-Force Sports), but not necessarily needed.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a look at the other three sets of tires on the inside too carefully, but the tread wear for the blown tire was on the inside.

I started feeling a pull to the right earlier during that session of driving but thought of it as road condition and went on. Eventually the tire popped and the wheel pulled right. When I saw it, inside (for about two centimeters) was pretty bald.

There was no pull to the right (or left) before this incident, and as far as I'm aware, normal cars should wear on the outside first, so I'd assume alignment would have to be PRETTY BAD for tires to wear on the inside.

Also, I'm at about 47k miles on an '04. I don't know if an alignment's been done from the previous owner... what do you guys (and possibly girls) think?

The wear should be even with daily driving. I had that sudden inner wear and tire pop like you mentioned...my fronts had 1 deg of toe in.

If you want another alternative, you can go to Temple City Auto. Call Henry, and let him know that Fred or Al from TOPDOWN referred you. Rates are really good, and the work has been perfect

Darrin is one of the best out there, but he's always fully booked. It's a complement about his work, but some of us can't wait that long
