I bought this one from Harbor Freight in Orange about 2 years ago and is still holding strong. Also go the 2 1/2 year extended warranty

I got this one in blue 3000lbs. racing jack. I've been using for 3yrs so far.

HF usually has a coupon for $59.99 in the back of most car magazines.

I'm one of those folks who had no idea. I had a torin (which looked just like one of those blue harbor freights; I suspect it's the same rebadged) start leaking within the first 2 weeks.

anyway i had no idea what to do, so i returned it, but just found this site:

Would appreciate if you have more feedback regarding servicing your own jack.

if you know how to bleed your own brake, you can bleed/change oil in your jack without much effort.

there's tons of video/diy on google, they works all the same way more of less(different placement of service port but that's about it)

if your jack is starting to steadily lower itself or it will not reach the max height, the chances are you have air in the system and it needs to bleed out.

change the oil if you use it a lot, i do it once every 6 month or so, a bottle of jack fluid(autozone, walmart, kragen) will last you couple year easy.
