Good body shops in SD??
Hey there,
Anyone in the San Diego area know of a good body shop?? I have two major dings (metal showing) on my hood, pretty close to the "H". Long story of how it happened.
I was referred by Cush Honda to "Sports & Classics Auto Body" on El Cajon Blvd. The quotation they gave me was for $950.00!! (the party's whose fault it was will be paying out of pocket). Apparently, the entire hood needs to be repainted as well as the bumper.
I also heard that Amato's in Sorrento Valley was good, as well as Mercedes Benz on Balboa Ave.
I know that the guy will pay, but I don't want to gouge him either. But then again, getting the correct paint and work done with the right shop will be definitely be worth it!
Any advice?
Thanks,
tk2k

I've witnessed work by Amato's, top notch. MB of SD will overlook whatever they can to get your car out of the shop as quick as possible as they are pretty busy.
