Hey Spoon - I spent most of the day there yesterday. I dropped my wife and girls off at the beach and went to explore a little bit. Many, many restaurants that were filled up with long waiting lines. Lot's of art galleries too.
Lots of pretty woman of course and I can't tell you how many exotic cars I saw driving around; a new F430, A few Gallardos, a Murcielago, many Porsches, AN F40! and a new Mercedes SLR even. The Mercedes SL is the Laguna Beach Honda Civic there.
If you're there on Saturday morning (early though) I seriously recommend you check out the Crystal Cove car show just a few miles north of Laguna.

I was just there on saturday. Lots of art galleries line the streets. Lots of people watching. They also got 2 courts for basketball on the beach if you're game. Picnic areas, lots of food places, really nice beach.
