As for endless taxes......
At some point when taxing becomes too heavy, capitalism is over and communism begins.
Communist = Bureaucrats telling the people how their own money should be spent.
High taxed USA = politicians (Bureaucrats) telling the people how their own money should be spent.
I see little difference. I'm also not someone who is HAPPY when I get money back for taxes at the end of the year. Ok so the gov't takes my money, holds onto it so I don't make interest and then hands it back to me and I'm supposed to be excited to get my own money back?.......
This my fear. Fact is capitalism works and communism DOESN'T the simple fact that most people will work harder if the income is greater as a result. Since communism ruins this, nobody works hard knowing their income is the same. Why be a doctor when you get paid as much to work as a gardener. I know we all understand these basics but my fear is that they sneak up quieter then people realize. Tax breaks put money back into PEOPLE where it can be invested and GROW.

No concern for those less fortunate.
If you were one of them, I PROMISE your attitude would be 180 degrees from where it is now.
I pray you never find out.

war generates money....... not as much as it used to of course but as a general rule America going to war = "war machine" thus our economy booms.
It's not about concern for the less fortunate but rather the rejection of free endless handouts. Such as unchecked welfare. I don't feel AT ALL that I started out fortunate, other then having parents that at least didn't beat me everyday. I've worked my ass off thus far for very little. I continue to do exactly that until I get more.
It's commonly written off as lack of concern or caring but honestly and of course I can only truly speak for myself here....but I really do care....but REALLY believe in teaching a man to fish....not just giving him a fish.
Too many social programs are simply BS. Especially the ones favoring a particular group. I'm quite AGAINST things like college acceptance quotas or job acceptance quotas. I mean that just straight up is BS and in the long run doesn't reward the races its supposed to. It does however anger the guy who DIDNT get the job when he was more qualified but he was white or asian (the two which social programs NEVER support). As though they've done something wrong. Little rant there.
In any case.... Social programs FTL. I'm sorry. They are great in theory like when J. Carter supported em but lets face it people, they're now simply misused and exploited into an oblivion.

Now.........Pres Clinton was the one that enacted LIMITED TERM for welfare, I believe.
DO NOT do away with the programs. Do away with the LOOPHOLES that allow abuse.
The programs are good and needed by many. The bureaucracy is what is f****d.

.....anyone who didn't say "no" would have been tar'd and feathered. Im not sure if it was him or not.....seems right that it was though. It was somewhere around 97-98 if my memory is correct?
lets see...I was barely outa elementary school
the programs are exploited by many and needed by few. There's no argument from me on the bureaucracy being F#@$k.
IMO.
