I wonder why she did it... Even with pressure from
parents, she could have hung out anywhere and said
she was at Standford. It's not like hiding out in the dorms
somehow made her a student... I hope she can get into
another school and become a real student..

my brother, when he was at Cal, had a similar situation -
turned out that one of his study buddies in undergrad wasn't enrolled in school. He took at all the exams, finals, etc. He got found out when a girl found a picture of herself on his desk - he'd been telling people that she was his gf, but she actually never knew the guy till that day (imagine meeting some guy and finding YOUR picture on his desk). Dude left campus, never heard from again.
