I think they shuld let her off and have her explain every detail of how she did this to avoid it in the future.
I never understood why they punished people they could learn so much from to change things and make them safer.

In the end she will realize that parents don't always know best. Find a loser boyfriend. Drop out of school completely. Get an abortion. Then end up working DV2 to pay the rent!
