hey JD, i thought you had Spugen incorporate your stock piping into it so it's not as loud...or something like that.

bump for a great guy. someone buy this off of him.
Thanks for the bump Mark, Ray and Jimmy!

Yeah, Spugen made me a custom center pipe using the OEM resonator and damping pipe from a scrap exhaust, and it did quiet it down. I'm going to sell that seperately.

I have heard this exhaust is really loud, how is it with the silencer in? I may be interested, but here in Irvine I can't have a loud exhaust, between bored cops and nice neighbors, I wouldn't get away with it. Please let me know if the silencer helps enough. Oh, one more question. I have a MY04, with the slant of the canister will it fit my rear valence or what ever it's called?

Please help a semi-noobie out.

Thanks,
Al

The silencer quiets it down enough to be easily cop-compliant but it just doesn't sound as good. I have an '03 so I don't know how it would fit on an '04.

Thanks for your response. I am more interested in the weight savings than the sound. I would like a deeper tone if possible, but it doesn't have to be louder. I guess I can PM Duc and ask him.
