So exiting the 5 S about 30 minutes ago. See 4 chp cars and several other cars stopped on shoulder. Then I see CHP waiving the car in front of me by and then pulling me over. Great.
CHP "do you know why i pulled you over?"
me thinking ummm, speeding??
me "no, sir"
CHP "in california, it's the law to have front and back license plates"
me "really, wow, that's why you all are out here?"
ok.
so, anyway, don't take that exit, they'll be there all day.
surprisingly, they were really pulling over quite a few cars. guess it's a big problem.

Ugly front plates ftl. Why are the popo's not out there giving tickets for major violations or fighting crime?

Did you get a ticket? Was it written as a correctable or non-correctable violation?

yes why arent the cops out caughting the person that did a hit and ran on my car......waste of tax money...oh well

It also gives them probable cause to pull you over, look in your car, etc.

News said the cops are out in full force this weekend.
So behave yourselves, guys.
Don't give them the satisfaction of pulling you over.
