Yea this is a completely BS deal. I got 3 tickets for no front plate in a 24 hour period while my car was PARKED outside my apt building. Apparenty they can ticket you EVERY 8 HOURS.

My GF dad has a Ferrari Modena 360 and he had no way of mounting his front plate without purchasing a $450 kit from the dealer. The cop that pulled him over suggested he "Screw it into the bumper with self tapping screws". F'ing clown SMPD!
the front plate law been around for a LONG ARSE TIME

it's your personal choice to break the law and it's in their power to enforce it

The nerve. I wouldn't self tap into the bumper of any halfway decent car, let alone a 360.

my friend's mom bought a brand new camero and the dealer drilled two holes for the front plate right into the bumper to mount the license plate before they left the lot...

that would piss me off and make them pay for damages

umm you guys live in california i'd hope you would be well informed of the CVC.

you must have a front and rear license plate. just because you don't have holes predrilled doesn't excuse you from having a front plate.

tint on the front windows can only be 70%
