hey peeps I used my old shitty laptop and mounted a webcam that has motion recording.... I'm trying to think of a good way to expand this I think it has potential. As is it's not that handy cause you rely on battery power when the cars off....its nice for tickets and accidents.
Does anyone make a good camera system or something, i'd love to have surveillance of a vehicle, think it'd be worth it for cars like Ferrari's etc.
Just a crazy Idea. Idk, a system that would always be recording. However would have a 1 hr tape or somethin that was always overwriting. So at the press of a button you could upload the tape to a laptop and play it back the last hour....perhaps longer?
Currently my computer records all motion that happens infront of where I park my S... just 15 feet from the window. I usually get cars passing and useless stuff that takes up about a half hour total of playback per day when motion sensor turns on and video records for 10 seconds after motion stops. This way I could record like this for weeks at time with an average hard drive.
