im pretty sure some sheet metal fomr home depot along iwht some cuting and drilling can fab something that would allow the edfc to turn
thats exactly what i did. cost me a whopping 69 center per plate. from there, i bent them in a vice, drilled a hole, and used a bench grinder to make it pretty. i had some chrome spraypaint lying around, and used that too

Does anyone have this problem where the shock body rotates, taking the EDFC motor with it? The only thing that stops it is the wire to the EDFC motor... im afraid this is gonna eventually snap the wires. Is there any way to prevent the shock from turning?

make your own brackets!
wouldnt the strut continue turning, unscrewing the motor?

the rear seems tighter, so it doesnt turn. the motor will not unscrew if u have enought locktight... that was one concern, but i can rotate the shock freely by hand while holding the motor, so i think the locktite is holding

I know this is a post from 2 years ago, but my Monoflex driver side was doing the same thing. I thought about adding a bracket like this, but umm -- doesn't this kind of defeat the whole purpose of having a Tein tophat with a pillow ball mount since you're restricting all movement up top? This could also be bad as well...
