donezo (at least for 7 months?)
yes it is his last show due to nbc trying to push his time slot back 30 mins.. conan quit.. FOR GOOD. not for 7 months. im a big late night tv fan. i was pretty disappointed at this. been following this for a while. had a friend that worked for the jay leno show. i knew a little bit of inside stuff.
while i love leno, conan is by far my fav host. NBC just lost their future in late night... and a about $60million+ in about 3 months not including what they wasted on the sets etc.

Stop threadshitting with that faux know-it-all crap. He can be back on TV in 7 months (which is what he suggested if you saw the show) Doesn't take a big fan to know the details - I too have been watching for years, seen both Leno and Conan (in NY).
If you know so much about Late Night, you should understand why Leno is back and why this means they aren't "losing" their future. Have you seen the ratings?
"For the first month of the television season, the declines for Mr. O’Brien have been the worst among total viewers, something most NBC executives had predicted. Those numbers are big: Mr. O’Brien is off by more 2 million viewers, *or about 47 percent, from Mr. Leno’s performance last year. He has averaged 2.53 million total viewers for the first four weeks of the season; Mr. Leno averaged 4.75 million last year. (Mr. Letterman is at 4.59 million this season, up from 3.97 million.)"

can someone tell me if this is true? the reason i heard why o'brien lost so many viewers because of Leno's new show wasnt doing great, viewers would tune out of NBC before conan was on and didnt switch back to watch conon
