Usually I don't make bitching threads, but I am soooo fawkin po right now. Parked my car on 5th n spring in downtown, come back after a couple drinks and see that my car has been keyed from the driver rear panel all the way across the driver door and ends in the front qt panel. WOW. Who the fawk would do something like that for no reason? I wasn't the only car around, I parked next to a z4. shat like that makes me lose confidence in the human race.

SMH @ low lifes!!!

I'm so mad and sad at the same time. I felt my heart stop as soon as I saw it. It was a deep scratch too, and you can still see the paint residue along the what now seems like a valley.

Hopefully my insurance will help me out, but I kind of doubt it because usaa, although cheap, is a pos when it comes to claims.

Good Luck.
Don't understand why someone would do such a thing. Pathetic.

Sorry man. I'm always uneasy leaving my car street parked in downtown - I came back to my car once and found a couple trying to open the door, and even after I gave them a look they just moved on to trying to open the next car ... wtf.

We lived in Downtown for the last year and you really do not want to park just anywhere down there with certain cars. 5th St. is not a good street in general. All of Spring is pretty much a dump as it is. I would suggest finding a lot that charges $4-5 next time. There are plenty of cheap lots that look shady but aren't and can be found even on the weekends.

I saw all kinds of things while living down there, so absolutely nothing would surprise me in that particular area. You aren't exactly far from Skid Row.

Yea, you have to park where there is lighting and people. You cant just park anywhere. I feel you, I got my car keyed around the world before and it f'ed up.

damn dude, that sucks. i have usaa too, and they helped me out when someone shot my driver door with a bb gun.

there was no hassle with anything. the shop i dealt with said usaa is pretty good with claims... as long as they have pictures to justify it.

Depends what plan you have for your insurance, I'm at $210 with $100 deductibles.
