I thought I'd share a few pics I took from ridiculously expensive Bora Bora.....
Great pics. Looks just lovely. Those bungalows must be nice to stay in. You say it's ridiculously expensive though which got me thinking that you could probably do most of those things in Thailand at far less cost.

The over-water bungalow goes for around $1000 per night...Our package including airfare and 6 nights cost a little over $11,000. We had a couple excursions, shark feeding and a sunset cruise.

It's a little over 8 hours to fly to Tahiti and then a 45 minute transfer by turboprop to Bora Bora.

They are in the same time zone as Hawaii. They are as far south of the equator as Hawaii is north of it. It is their winter right now so temps are very mild. It was pretty much 80 degrees every day, no humidity, and around 75 or so at night. And also not as many bugs and mosquitos.

During their summers, it gets into the upper 90's with lots of humidity and of course the occassional hurricane or two...

Flippin sweet.

For $11k, you could probably live in a whole bunch of places for more than six MONTHS .

Actually, the Bora Bora Nui is a really nice resort. We went by it during our shark feeding tour. I have heard nothing but good things about it. The coral reef around the Bora Bora Nui is some of the best in Bora Bora.
