Fantastic canyon drive today
I was coming home this morning from pasadena and was dropping someone off in Asuza. I decided to take quick trip up to Asuza canyon. Well the short 15 minute drive turned into a 2 hour top of the mountain canyon drive. I ended up on some super tight almost one lane roads at the highest points of the mountain, it was beautiful clear day also. I was thinking about turning back when I seen a sign that said "Mt Baldy". I stopped to ask a Ranger and he gave me dirrections to Mt baldy, Mthigh, Upland.
I had heard about those back roads before but never taken them. I recomend that drive to anyone coming or going from IE to Asuza. Just go slow on the narrow parts, no carving, it's way to tight.
We should take that drive someday, I know it's my route to and from from now on! lol

great to hear that you drove that road. I haven't been up there in a few weeks but the last time I was up there with a buddy we ran into another guy with an s2k. He was with a red porche and an benz. I ran with them for a good stretch of that back road after the stopping point up there on GMR. They were going pretty fast and I had to stop and wait for my friend because I lost him. a very memorable drive for me since i haven't gone in a while. I'm planning on going there maybe on tues morning, you're welcome to join if you like.

The owner of the 997 was telling me how some s2k guys were following them, but after awhile he didn't see them anymore. He thought that you guys couldn't keep up.
