Default expedited visas to china

Long story short, I'm leaving for China next wk, and I don't have my visa yet. There's lotsa companies out there that do expedited visas for a high fee - does anyone have any personal recs?

Thanks...

I didn't even know you needed a visa to travel to China. I thought all you needed was your US passport. Just went to Japan and the Philippines and all I needed was my passport

^^ Depends on the country that you're going to. China requires a Visa.

you should give at least a week for visas. Last time I did mine was with this place in Beverly Hills. I think if you need a turn around time of 1 or 2 days, it's like either 200+ or 300+...not sure. I can look for the contact when i get home though

thanks, I appreciate it. Most I've seen are either same day turn around for insane price, 24 hr turn around for moderately crazy price. The consulate is closed until Monday, and I leave on Friday.

Go to the place on Shatto Ln where the Chinese issue visas. Pay the expedite fee, pick it up the next day. Plan on spending an hour in line each time. Or there is a travel agent at the end of the hall in that building (Able Tours?). They can do it for you. Saves the wait.

China is quite a nice place to visit. Lots of culture and history..... I went once in 2002 and once in 2006... The great wall is quite a sight to see!!! Hope you get your visa and have a safe trip!!!!

While you are out there you should try Thailand... that place is the best!!!
