I'll bet gold does soar. But not for a year or two. Don't we have to pass through our depression before inflation hits?
I used to collect Canadian Maple Leafs and Kruggerands. Pretty coins. Sold 'em when gold first rose over $500. If you do go the physical gold route make sure you store them securely, like in a safe deposit box!
