I thought about it, and I'm doing it. Lots of reasons why, but mainly to buy a house, make more money, and have a cheaper cost of living. This is my last month in So Cal. Born here, but over it.

"no matter where you go, there you are" - it means if you're not happy, changing your location won't do much.

LA is a tough pill to swallow but if you like cars - there is no better place period.

Well said...

I have lived in New Hampshire, Colorado, Michigan, Utah and cali. I would move back to Boulder or Park City, BUT there is no beter place in the states than SoCal. I like San Fran too, but too cold to live there IMO

Born and lived all my life in So Cal. I think about moving but I doubt I ever will leave here. Just move to a different area.

I was born and raised in LA (North Hollywood to be specific), went to college in San Luis Obispo (way too quiet for me) and then I moved to San Diego. I love it here!! Rush hour lasts ~1 hour and there's never traffic on the weekends. I visit LA once a month, but I'll never move back. I've traveled to a few states in the US and I've even shoveled snow and risked my life driving in it too. Snow is great & I love snowboarding, but I'll never shovel snow from a driveway again.
