Default EPS LIGHT IS ON

i originally posted this topic in the sd section but id like to get everyone from the socal help. my electrical power steering (EPS) light came on, and now i have no power steering, and its no fun at all driving without it in the mountains. i tried everythign, reseting the ecu, disconnect the battery, went to honda and spoke to the honda master tech and he never heard of that problem before or he said, its un common so he didnt know much. so im hoping some of u guys could help me.

hes 'never heard' of power steering going out? check your fluid, maybe is low? or you have a leak? but def something is wrong somewhere in the system. but, of course, you already know that and my post was of no help.

Hmmm, master tech and never hearing of the EPS issue?? I would find another dealer to get a second opinion. It's not common but it's not unheard of either. Do a search and you'll find that others have had the same issue..

haha any input would help. but to be honest, haha. i got 5 of my friends including me to locate where the power steering is, and couldnt find it, i dont know what it looks like.

Oh, and since our cars have electric power steering, hence the EPS, it has no fluids to check..

There IS a fuse/relay for it, should be located in the fusebox under the hood..

no, but after i changed the radiator hose thats when it happend, but it happend a day after i changed it, could that be a problem?? leaks? i need to know where the power steering is located if its under the hood.
