I was planning on getting invidia exhaust and testpipes but looking at the estimated fines...im starting to change my mind although the area I live has no checkpoints or anything like that but is there anything else that can achieve that orgasmic rasp sound other than the testpipes?

Nope

I my tp.

I have never seen a smog checkpoint either, but it is a scary thought.
Im interested to know what they do with vehicles that dont pass this smog check..??..
Obviously the police aren't gonna assume foulplay on say a beat up old car.

they call in the tow truck(there's should be a couple standing by), tow it to their yard/impound, and give you a nice ticket.

If the test pipe makes 5-7 hp the High flow cat is probably not going to net you much of a HP gain (if anything). I would either take your chances with the TP or stick to the Stock cat

I have had tuners tell me with a good tune it is possible to pass, but I have not experienced it or seen it for myself.
