Default Earthquake weather

Last night and this morning in the foothills it was very windy and warm. As I left for the gym this morning, Mrs. Raptor said "Scary, earthquaqe weather." We're overdue. I'm thinking an 8.4 slip-strike on the Inglewood-Newport Fault that kills 65,000 and renders half of Metro LA homeless.

Actually, from what I've been reading, the most likely location of the next big quake is the Central California San Andreas, near Parkfield.

Coastal Central California north of San Luis Obispo, right on the San Andreas Fault. It' s the most heavily seismically monitored place in the US.
