Default Driving to Vegas

I have to drive to vegas tonight and my daily driver is in the shop.

Have to drive the S2000 for the 4 hour trip. Question is does that blue tape stuff really prevent rock chips and where to apply for the most protection? Thanks

I use it for drives to norcal. It works well for me. I usually tape up to just underneath the "H" emblem. Make sure u press the tape down well otherwise it starts to peel off.

i had it on for the entire drive to vegas + track day at pahrump + drive back. it's a cheap altnerative to clear bra. just a bit of a hassle putting it on & taking it off.

It will add an additional layer of protection against small rocks. Just don't follow any of the big tractor-trailer trucks, they're the main culprits for kicking up debris.

Have fun in VEGA$.

It's just painter's masking tape from the hardware stores (i.e. Lowes, Home Depot)

Glad I don't have balls, then. I got back from my trip to Colorado last night and did 2,543 miles. Loved it all, well almost... I did pull into a rest stop near Cortez, CO, when it was hailing, raining, lightninging and thundering.

Oh, and last summer I drove my Suzuka to Ohio. That trip was 5,439 miles and I loved it too.

Does eat up tires though.
