Down payment via credit card?
I have this idea, it sounds good to me, but I wanted to get some advice first.
I have a 15k limit credit card, and I am looking to buy a 20k+ S2K.
Can I put like 10k+ down via credit card then do a balance transfer to another card which has 0% on the life of the balance transfer (but 3% fee, up to $75)
So I will be paying 0% on 10k and around 6-7% on the other 10k. Smart idea or ''damn you are an idiot estukaye''

Alot of dealers won't do it any more (charge the down payment on a CC).
Why don't you just deposit one of those 0% APR checks that your CC company gives you in to your bank account?

Don't most CC companies consider those checks to be cash advances? They're usually not eligible for the special balance transfer rates... either that or I've been missing out

O% intrest in a high monthly minimum payment
you miss or late 12-15% intrest $39 late fee
some bank are owned under other larger names..
you might not be able to bal-trans from one to the next
