I had Hawaiian food catered for my wife's baby shower this passed weekend, and the Spam Misubi was such a hit that I didn't even get to eat one

Spam musubi is the best! Spam, eggs, and rice. Mmmm. I got hooked on spam when I was stationed in Hawaii. They sell it everywhere.

I haven't eaten it in a while, but it sure does taste good, especially when it's grilled, crispy on the ouside, and hot and tender on the inside! I guess when I started reading the ingredient list, it wasn't so appetizing?

The other day, I was hard pressed to find something to eat.
I found a .. tub? of SPAM in the cupboard, an onion in
the pantry, and some buns in the freezer. Grilled up the
onion, and then the SPAM with a little rice oil, added
some ketchup and lettuce... SpamBurger!

very tasty.

(I only look like a white guy...)

I grew up in Hawaii, where it's the fifth food group. My favorite preparation: fried and crispy on the outside as mentioned above, with some maple syrup on top (almost like crispy glazed ham). Mmm. Lunchtime.
