I've heard and noticed that stock ap1's get up to 45mph in 1st gear. ive only gotten up to about 38mph redlining. I was wondering if my car could have a different set of gears on it? I just got it like 4 months ago, but it was certified...wouldnt the person certifying the car notice that it had different gears? And lets say I did have the stock 4.10's, what would another reason be for me never getting past 38mph in 1st?

Sure, your speedo could be off. but it doesn't sound like your car has a problem. In theory, Stock AP1 tops out at 42.8 mph in 1st gear. 4.57 gears will top you out at 38.4 but theres a pretty noticable difference in acceleration.
