Default Digital Camera Recommendations

Hi All,

I am looking for a digital camera in the 200-300 price range.

I pretty much narrowed it down to:
Canon Powershot SD200
Nikon Coolpix 3700

I know the nikon has a $100 rebate.

Anyone's got hookups or recommendations (around SD area)?

I can tell you right now that you can get a NIKON Coolpix 4100 for under $300.

If it comes down to a choice between Canon and Nikon...... although I'm partial to Nikon.......I would go with the Canon. It's still ranked on the top for quality.

Both are pretty good. I have that Canon, though...and chose it because of the smaller size.

My mom just bought that Sony model tonight and it seems really cool for the price except my mom got it at bestbuy for our 2 week Hawaii trip which we leave for on Thursday so getting online was definently not an option as we can not wait for it to be shipped so we paid 299 for it. We also bought a 512mb card for it so that we can hold tons of pictures and basically never have to take it out ever. The camera is so good I took a picture of myself and you can literally zoom in and see each poor on my face and the individual hairs also its kinda gross, freaky, yet cool. Hope I helped some.

check www.bensbargains.net, best deals in town!!

I'm sure you won't find a better deal, and check often, since they update it throughout the day... btw, I'm not affiliated with them, just that I've bought great stuff from the site...
