hmmmm any more details on this accident? i heard today that one of my professors was killed over the weekend because she was hit by a drunk driver. she was from the oc area and rode a harley as well.

The lady that was killed I heard was a professor at Mt. SAC. She and her husband were riding their Harleys and the car hit both of them. He fell down while she was dragged by the car for around 300ft. This is what I heard today from one of the Harley guys.

That really is disturbing. I totally agree that people abuse the fact that they are in a car and that there are wanna be racers or people who make irradict moves and do not have the reflexes for it, but some bikers I know that are really good on their bikes and have attended schools usually take the bike harder than anyone. I always yield to bikers though cause I always imagine how I would feel on my bike around all these cars.

BTW Hit and run drivers SUCK and should be punished for that. A call could at least possibly save a life.

Damn,

I found out that the guy that died had ridden with our group before. He had a custom painted Triumph. I don't really remember him, but I do remember his bike. Still sad....
