Death Wobble/Speed Wobble in the Wrangler (TJ)
Our bone stock TJ has had the issue since we got it with 16k BONE STOCK.
A couple days ago I lifted it 2" myself. Looks great, drives better. Yet now the Death wobble is much worse. Sometimes at 50mph or so the wobble will set in......
It jerks soo hard left and right so quickly it nearly rips the wheel outa my hand. If I put my motocross grip on it to make it stop I can force the wheel but the suspension compoenents allow the wheel still to shake rapidly. It sounds like the wheels are falling off or ripping off. I have to drop from 50/60mph down to 25-30mph before it fades off and goes away. Any random bump around 55mph will set it off and very quickly it just turns into a bucking bronco.
I've read up on it and the issues, I was just curious about if anyone on HERE had the issue ever in a wrangler.
I'm gonna get an alignment done tomorrow and I'll check the trac bar mounts as well as the pitman arm and tie rods etc. IDK...only 24k on the clock now but the bushings are maybe stressed out early?

How did you lift it?
Add air to the tires in the meantime, it should help a little.
Once you get the death wobble you pretty much have to start changing all your suspensions moving parts (bushings, ball joints, etc) until you find the problem.
If you lift it in a way that pitches the axle in a different angle that could cause it to wobble too.
