A big thank you to Honda, Mr. Uehara, and BC for everything you guys did in preparation for this amazing event. I didn't own my S2000 when HC1 happened, but HC2 was more unbelievable than I could have imagined. The feel of the event was spectacular-- it's nice when you're walking around and you realize that everyone in sight has one thing in common-- a love for the S2000.

Amazing car, amazing event, and I hope that there will be something similar in the future.

Mike (Back-cracker):

Now that S2k Homecoming II - 2010 is a memory, I just wanted to express my personal gratitude for all the hard work that you, Corp Honda, and your HC-II Team put forth. I am friends with numerous people scattered across the country from coast-to-coast, and I'm sure that no other S2ki Forum has the leadership and representation that you give us in SoCal. You certainly thought "outside the box" when you took on the daunting task of organizing HC-II, and included the whole S2ki Community.

I am not patronizing you, but just saying that we are VERY fortunate to have you as one of the Community Organizers in SoCal. You go "above and beyond" and there are many people across our nation (and around the world) that appreciate the experience you afforded us during S2k Homecoming II - 2010. People came from the far corners of the U.S.; some driving their beloved S2000's for thousands of miles, and they all agree that HC-II was one of the best S2000 experiences ever. To drive an S2000 on a long trip, only makes you the car more.

I was so happy to see Mr Uehara again as our "Special Guest." I missed getting his autograph during HC-I in 2007, so I hoped he would be at HC-II. I brought my S2000 book, and had him autograph the page that has his photo along with other Chief Engineers, etc, and also had my photo taken with him. Someday, I'll probably have to say "good-bye" my beloved, NFR, S2000. However, I will always keep my S2000 book with Mr Uehara's signature inside. What an amazing man!!

As Soichiro Honda said so beautifully: "The value of life can be measured by how many times your soul has been deeply stirred." I know that all of our souls were stirred on Sept 25, 2010, at HC-II.

Thanks Mike, for having the dream. You "built it," we all came, and are better for it.
