If that happened to me, I'd take it to a good detail shop and see if they think the scratches and/or chips can be fixed. I just got my MY'02 black/black and it has a few scratches, a couple of them pretty deep. I'm taking it in tomorrow to have a complete detail and I'm told it will look better than new. The guys I go to did some amazing work on my husband's red S last year. It might not be that expensive, depending on the damage.
