dam glad u made it out ok. i recentley had a total loss as well, the whole front is gone. Im currently in the process of trying to buy back my wreck as a salvaged title with maybe the intent to sell or part it out, whichever. The thing is that insurance companies are not comfortable with selling back salvaged wrecks because they are afraid of liability issue which they can be sued. thats where i have a problem. i want something out of this and i wish there was an easier way. Any advise?.... i do plan on getting another S once all this has cleared.

You should always have the option to buy back a salvaged vehicle. The insurance companies wouldn't be sued, if the title is salvaged it must be inspected first before it can be on the road. Plus the price is not solid, whatever price they offer you, always counter. I wish I bought my car back but I don't have the time/space/money. I told myself I'd get another S after I get a home =D

this might be the wrong time to ask but if the car is irrepairable, would you be selling the wheels>? if they are not completely damaged.
