Cops and Ticket Quotas.... PROOF

class-action of ticketed motorists will not fly as you were already found "guilty" of your offense if you paid and then went to traffic school for it. Whether there is or is not a quota, doesn't suddenly make you innocent.
If you also consider the "need" of cities, especially LA, to generate additional revenue, I dont believe there's any judge who's willing to add to the deficits and then bear the burden of creating a chain reaction of lawsuits.
If anything, this sort of news only validates our prior beliefs about quotas, but it doesn't change whether cops will stop giving tickets out or not. How do YOU prove that the ticket you got was based on a quota & not because you commmited a violation?? It's the integrity of the cop vs yours and the law sides with their own (in most cases)
