[QUOTE=jlammy,Jun 5 2009, 02:36 PM] You drank and drove but you hate the cop for catching you?

Don't do anything wrong in front of a cop and your fine, what's the problem? I have been pulled at high triple digit speeds on the Turbo Busa without getting bad results by both car and bike cops. Ticket yes, but treated well nonetheless. Guess if your a minority it's a different story especially in my neighborhood. Plus I'm a old guy.

But remember you gambled and you lost time to pay up. You never hear people bitch about all the time the got away with some foolish driving deal do you? With all the inlanders we get in Balboa / Newport during the summer the cops want to keep us locals happy so the inlanders don't ruin our neighborhoods. Seems like it mostly a ego thing, guy with a gun and the ability to send your ass to jail versus the bltch behind the wheel.

And just to clarify, it brings me great satisfaction to see a cop pull over some clown driving like an asshat by making multilane changes without signaling.

But at the same time, I witnessed a car get pulled over ONLY because of an illegal tint. I know this because that car and I were driving side by side at the posted speed limit without breaking any laws (except for the poor fella's tint). When I saw him get pulled over, I was rather shocked. Then again, it was in Irvine, and we all know about Irvine cops.

Too many cops.

California still hasn't realized how many ways it's taxed.

"tickets = fees"
"fees = taxes"

It's just a fund raising scam.

Point being, you just never know what they're gonna do. That's
what I fear.
