i had the same thing. they put my name wrong on the ticket. sent it to my house with a wrong name. called them up and then they said that all the other information was mine and that its my responsibility to fix the ticket.

im pretty sure ur screwed. try and let us know if it works if u want tho. they wont arrest u for questioning haha

you can play dumb and go to the court clerk with NO ID. and tell them you want to take care of a ticket. when they can't find anything under your name (since you don't have ID and can't seem to remember your CDL number) they will give you a paper saying your went, and they cleared you.

try it, GL
thats a good idea, i might do that but i doubt that i'll get away with it. i guess i should just pay the ticket and go to traffic school rather than have it bite me in the ass later.
Sigh* i guess i wont be getting an exhaust....

Friend here has seen it tossed out for address as well as make/model error like i did.

bottom line is it depends on the judge. plenty of judges dont like cops.

I don't know, Teddy. If its in Torrance, then I think your screwed anyway you look at it

I had a speeding ticket in Torrance once (which we all know I was not speeding ) and the cop decided to search my car and make a big deal out of it.

While he was searching I decided to make small talk with the cops partner about how I wanted to become a police officer one day and yadda yadda.

His partner had the audacity to tell me not to bother. I asked him why? and he replied with "look in the mirror idiot, no way Torrance would higher someone that looks like you"

So, I decided to fight the ticket under the assumption that I can say that the cop was "profiling" me and he made up the fact that I was speeding.

Long story short, the cop admitted that he said that in court and I still got the ticket because I couldn't legally prove that I was not speeding. All I got was a meaningless apology by the cop in front of court Then, my old car was marked, and I would get pulled over on a weekly basis. I was forced into selling that car because of how much I got sweated
