computer problem... any help?

Default computer problem... any help?

anyone ever experince this....

computer wont access the internet, BUT outlook can send/receive email/attachements with no problems through the internet. firefox and IE dont work at all.. just says 'waiting for www.s2ki.com etc' until it times out

i can go to cmd and ping, say www.yahoo.com and i get a response..

anyone have any idea wtf happened?

TIA! i spend 2 hrs searching on google for a solution but no luck..

So you can't access yahoo.com or google at all? Who is your email provider? Have you made any changes to your system before it stopped working? Sounds like there could be a number of different things causing this... PM me if you need more help

its a brand new dell... i doubt it shipped with spyware.. i uninstalled a bunch of the useless crap that dell ships with the system. turned off windows firewall, turned off virus scan, no luck...

read on my search that maybe during the uninstall something somewhere got jacked up...

and no, i cannot access ANY site from a browser of any type

Do you happen to have any other computers on the same network? Are they having any problems? Also, who is your email provider?

all other computers on the router work fine. the email is through my gf's website email... and can send/receive from anyone. the website is hosted by godaddy
