Just like a computer.
Is your PS3 on obtain dns automatically? Is it wireless or wired? Did this happen after an update?
1. Reboot/unplug/plug-in ps3.
2. Reboot router.
Either your PS3 isn't obtaining DNS properly or your router isn't supplying it.

yes put in dns manually.
Go to your computer, go to your command prompt
(start > run > cmd > [enter])
Type in ipconfig /all
DNS numbers should be there.
Or 4.2.2.1
4.2.2.2 should work.
