Default Computer Operator Job Available

I just found out I got the position in another department here at Wachovia/Wells Fargo so my old position will be available.

Title: Computer Operator
Hours: 4 10 hour work days and 3 days off most likely.
Description of job:

Basically all you do is the following

Monitor systems to ensure 100% uptime
Check off run times in our daily schedule of WFL's that have started/ended
Monitor Batch Processing
Call on-calls on any issues that you or the department can not fix.
Any other misc task the job requires.

Job is located in Irvine,CA

In all honesty this is the easier job I have ever had and I had no prior I.T experiece.

With that said I believe my boss is looking for someone with some sort of IT background although this job is pretty entry-level.

If you are interested please email me your resume and I will forward it to my boss.

I am posting this on behalf of myself to help the s2ki community. The above information is strictly from my own point of view and in no way reflects the views of Wachovia.Wells Fargo or its affiliates.

Yeah...that place is a freaking fortress.
I tried applying there awhile ago for a Licensing Manager position but never heard back. I think it is because I did not know anyone in the "game industry".

I know one person that works there know but his department got moved over to the buildings located off of Technology where my old mortgage company use to be LOL..

yeah..I would love to work for blizzard. Although if they ask me if I played WoW I would say yes....although it was not my account =P

Where do you work at Turtle?

I have seen 3 s2k's near my building. A white one with a hardtop in the buildings near my company and I think 1 or 2 s2k's in the Blizzard Fortress heh.

Yeah its not bad..not great either. I took a $5 paycut coming here but I needed a job after getting laid off from LendingTree.

Oh well.... anything is better then nothing. And to alot of people that recently got laid off 32k a year makes me feel special ^^

I've seen that one too. He's got a personal plate something like s2kftmfw or something. I used to see when walking on the bike trail.
