Any IT people in here, what classes do i normally need?

I'm guessing computer science etc types. If you go on your college's website, they tell you what classes you need for your major.

are you looking to get some kind of IT certificate? btw, assist.org will help you out if you plan on transferring to a UC or CSU. thats about it

Get a Cert first. It will let you know if you even like IT work or not

Try starting with an A+ or Network+ cert or read up on something like VB

BTW the youngest MCP is 9 years old

Lots of my IT friends are getting laid off left and right... some even making only 30K a year. Pick and chose carefully.
