to scratch it! How does one scratch the shift knob, considering it should pretty much only
come in contact with the palm of your hand?

i bought mine second hand.
nothing major but minor scratches.
i think the guy wore a ring, not sure

I have the honda aluminum knobit had scratches in the clear coat. Wet sanded it
and repainted the number on top with red paint
and finished it off with some soft steel wool
