First thing i did was put it in an oven for 1 hour at 450degrees. It turned the knob a golden color. after that I took a blow torch to it and burnt it for about 10minutes. Make sure you have it on a surface that can take the extreme heat. And in an area that doesnt have alot of stuff flying around in the air.. anything that touches the knob will melt. It took about 2.5hours to let the knob sit and cool. DO NOT USE

I used to wear a ring on my right hand, but once I got my Voodoo knob, I stopped--don't want
to scratch it! How does one scratch the shift knob, considering it should pretty much only
come in contact with the palm of your hand?

nothing major but minor scratches.
i think the guy wore a ring, not sure
