meguires has a metal polish I used after a tech at the honda dealership scratched the $hit out of my accord shift knob, works great

Thats what I used. It works great on regular knobs but color treated Ti knobs it takes all the colors right off.

hmmm, i dont really care for the blue/purple on top. i just care for the bronze.

when you cleaned it, what color was the knob?

It was the regular silver and a rainbow tint that Ti is known for..

torch it! man in 2 min with a torch i could melt it liquid. Shy of the torch process? someone should be able to help ya out I'd expect.

I'm surprised the coloring isn't deeper, the ti knob i did was ok with light polishing.
