Default Cingular network problems?

I've had it up to *here* (raising hand high above head) with cell phone problems lately... but...

Has anyone with Cingular noticed a drop in signal strength in Los Angeles the past 48 hours? I haven't been able to make or receive a call at all. I want to call customer service to ask them what's up, but... I can't.

Anyone else having Cingular issues?

cingular =

Verizon ftw

I have both and absolutely hate my cingular phone but have no choice but to keep it for work. Reception is mediocre at best.

Until yesterday, signal strength and quality was just fine where I live.

Then all of a sudden, I can no longer make calls... and it says the network is always busy. No incoming calls, only voicemails

I sure hope this is temporary.

Fawk Cingular. They rip you off with their high prices, and provide crap customer service.

it's fine for me ... it did jump a lot between 3G/EDGE/GPRS network for PDA phones.

My gf's line stayed on EDGE system all day and it's fine.

i was up in the mtns at june lake, near mammoth, this weekend.

absolutely NO reception with verizon.

FULL reception with my friends cingular phone. both were nokia phones.

goddamit, i switched from cingular to verizon and i think the coverage sucks for verizon in comparison.
