"Court records showed Christopher Laurie was cited for more than a dozen vehicle code violations between 2002 and 2007, including two citations for driving alone in a carpool lane, the Press-Enterprise reported.

Christopher Laurie received seven speeding tickets, as well as citations for not wearing a seat belt, failing to register his vehicle, and driving a motorcycle without a license, the newspaper reported.

Laurie was charged with possession of a controlled substance in 2001, but the conviction was dismissed after he successfully completed a court- ordered drug program, according to court records cited by the Press-Enterprise."

And they are launching a SPECIAL INVESTIGATION?!?!?!? GIVE ME A F*****G BREAK!! The guy was a LOSER behind the wheel. Run a "tox" screen on the body and you'll find your answer. STOP SPENDING MY TAX MONEY on this idiot!!!!!!! If I were you or me, do you think they would have a special investigation?!?!?!?

From the OCR:

"Christopher Laurie, the son of a megachurch pastor with a national following, will be remembered during a private memorial service on Friday, more than a week after he died in a car crash.

The service will be shown live online at www.harvest.org/ and broadcast in Southern California on KWVE, 107.9 FM. It begins at 11 a.m."

I'm going to watch just see how much cash they spend on this funeral.

Can you say whitewash and coverup??

Let's see what they conclude.......they will probably blame CalTrans....
Thats what they were hinting at earlier. I do not care if the vehicle is going slow or is even stopped ahead, you should have control over your vehicle/be paying attention. California laws regarding rear-ending are pretty cut and dry, even if someone cuts you off, or breaks down right in front of you. USUALLY, if you rear end someone, under any circumstances it is your fault...

[QUOTE=ricepatrol78,Jul 29 2008, 06:40 AM] Brian i'm assuming you are a member of that church? So then you know that church isn't in the nicest neighborhood... Not quite the ghetto but definately in a ghetto area.

[QUOTE=s2keepup,Jul 29 2008, 08:12 PM] why does it matter where the church is? if anything, they are brave to have seen a need and filled it.

but ya dude if ur gonna come out starting the fires, u better have something to back it up. so far ive seen brian cite his reponses but all i see you doing is posting ur opinions (which ur entitled to do but ur trying to claim them as fact). I think i learned to backup my statements back in what... 6th grade english?

Brave? Just as a point of reference, does anyone here recall how much money Chuck gave Greg to get him out of Calvary? I do.
