Rick, Chuck, Creflo, and Greg aint nowhere near being po'.

Out of the bunch of them, only Creflo is honest about his wealth.

One thing we know for sure, Greg's money isn't bringing back Chris anytime soon. Perhaps as he sits back in his easy chair tonight it will have dawned on him to pulldown the credit card donation site or donate the funds to charity (a real charity).

I think organized religion can sometimes be useless and cause harm.
I don't know what you think you gain or how you hope to possibly
contribute by making a comment such as this, but I'll bite. We can
quickly expect to find this thread locked or moved to politics or something,
but what else have we got to lose?

So, your comment begs the question. What about religion is crap?
Are you so wise as to know the ultimate answer to life, the universe
and everything all by your little self with your puny little human brain
and puny little body on a puny little spot of the universe that the earth
is? How can you possibly claim such a thing? I certainly can't. But
I see the vastness of the universe, the impossible (not hyperbole!)
complexity of a naturally occurring structure like DNA (or even the
amino acid constituents), and I find it easy to conclude that a designer
was involved with the creation of this place. I don't call my beliefs
"religion", bringing along the negative connotation that the word has.
Many TV evangelists and their ilk have brought the word into the mud,
turning people off to the idea of church and God. It's unfortunate.
Try being open minded--consider the facts, the ideas that are presented
as fact, and the world around you. Think before judging.

Anyway, I still say religion/church/etc has nothing and should have nothing
to do with this accident. It was a sad event, and helping out the family
of the guy is fine for those who wish to. Try not to be too disparaging
about people helping each other.
I learned a while ago the dangers of posting about religion on this board. I will say this however. You don't have to believe in my God, but I don't see how you can't believe in any God. Take a look around at our world, the nature, the way things work and all fit into place. How can you possibly believe that all this happened by accident, or coincidence. That science is right, and this stuff just fell into place no..There has to be an architect behind all this

You got a response, rice patrol? BRING IT!

Sorry i didnt have time to sit and reload this thread all day...

i bet over half the donations are cash donations.............. You think all the cash donations make it into the budget?! OR could it be possible... some gets pocketed and unreported... hrmm

My point is... I imagine the pastor and his family are more rich and live lavishly than most in the church..... I was under the assumption the pastor doesnt care about money and only teaching the word of god..... I may be wrong though.. i've never read the bible... So i won't say anything more in reguards to this topic..

hope brian gets over his temper tantrum... sounds like someone needs a time out.....

Police found the driver had a groupie sandwhich in his hand.
Authorities believe he was looking at his food and did not notice
the slow vehicles in front of him.

I won't have a temper tantrum if you don't post random nonsense
about things you don't know anything about. You are purposely
badmouthing people that you don't know and know nothing about
without checking the facts first. If I appear to be needing a time
out for calling you out on that complete crap, then so be it.

You couldn't be bothered to reload the thread all day, and so probably
have not bothered to try to reload any webpages regarding any
facts. Try doing that next time before posting about something you
clearly know nothing about.

You didn't want to re-read, so here's what you said that made reply:
i want to say about this situation. They live in orange county richly and luxuriously while their church is mainly poor people in riverside... They take the money from the poor and pocket it to their rich selves...
I ask would they still run the church if it didn't pay the way it did. I'd say no!
This is an outright fabrication--you have NOTHING to back up this claim
at all. Unless you can back up your ridiculous comments I'll ask you to
go do some research and come back later.

Yeah, I'll go back to my timeout now, thank you.

Brian i'm assuming you are a member of that church? So then you know that church isn't in the nicest neighborhood... Not quite the ghetto but definately in a ghetto area. I personally know people who go to that church who are poor....

Anyways i'm sorry your panties are in a bunch. You should consider taking anger management classes because while you were flaming angry at work all day i was chilling having a good day... Relax.. You're gonna give yourself a heartattack.

^^^and asking po' church members to take care of his wife and kids is highway robbery, InterWeb robbery...

Here is my plan to solve Chris Laurie's financial worries forever and not take one penny for Harvest church-goers.

Let Greg sell options on his property. The option will cost $2000 per month for every month it is effective. If the property gets called away (not likely in this environment) then Greg will give part of the proceeds to the family. Greg's name will generate enough interest in the option-to-buy so he'll have no trouble selling such an instrument.

Oh, and I have a hundred other ways he can make money for the family that doesn't require asking for CREDIT CARD donations.

How sad is it that he can just popup a ready-to-go web page for CREDIT CARD donations when he needs some extra pocket change? I refuse to believe that he can't take care of his family.

This guy is a charlatan. Plain and simple. Why does he have a CREDIT CARD donation page for his family but I don't see one for anyone else???
