If they supposedely do not make bank though at that church how do they have those houses/cars they own? Do they work other jobs?
If Christ were here, he would go off like he did when they were trading in the temple.....except now it's more subversive.......

yes rick warren is still living in coto. My former boss actually works with him at Saddleback and lives 2 streets over. not a HUGE house, but def nice place. typical coto basically. he isnt driving brand new cars every year either.
he actually made his $ from his books mainly ("purpose driven life" etc)
with the money he made from those books he used to give back every penny of what his salary was while he was with Saddleback.... now thats kool. he continues to donate 50% of the books sales to the church.
i dont go to saddleback, but i can appreciate a church that has brought countless thousands to know the Lord. and ironically, i live across the street hehehe.
ok off to catch my connection FINALLY!

Anyone know what 50% of Purpose Driven Life equates to? Few mill?
How 'bout he kick over a few bucks to the Laurie's? Tell ya what, here's a deal for you. If you can get Warren to toss a little coin over to Laurie family, then I'll pitch-in too. The catch is you have to prove it.
How 'bout Chuck? Come on Chuck, dig deep brother.
