I just got back in from a day of knocking around Beijing. I'll try to post pics later -
Had lunch with some of the faculty at the university I was giving a workshop, and then went to the zoo - took about 100 pics of pandas - it was feeding time and there were 8 in the same enclosure!
Then walked around an indoor shopping mall (3 stories of individual store booths; mostly clothing), and then to a famous shopping area (Dong Hua Men Ye Shi). Had some night market food - food on a stick... yum!

LMAO, then why did every channel covering the Beijing Olympics say that "dog" was going to be removed from the menu temporarily while the games take place?
But we try and look at positive. Psychophd and ricepatrol great photo. I hope the many more visit China and see how much progression has occurred. even though sometime progress mean too much smog in air like smoking cigerrate. I know when I look at the photo I miss home sometime!
